Dr. Robert Trujillo

Biography

Robert Trujillo is the Associate University Librarian for Special Collections at Stanford University, where he oversees the Rare Contemporary Artists' Books, Manuscripts Division, and Photography Initiative. He is also the Frances & Charles Field Curator and Head of Special Collections at Stanford University Libraries. Trujillo's academic journey includes a Master of Science in Library Science from California State University, Fullerton, and a Bachelor of Arts in Education from the University of New Mexico. His professional interests focus on fine press printing, artists' books, and the history of printed books. Trujillo has a keen interest in contemporary Mexican American history and literature, as well as U.S.-Mexico relations, particularly in the 20th century. He has contributed to various publications, including 'New Views R. Buckminster Fuller' published by Stanford University Press in 2009, co-authored with Hsiao-Yun Chu.
