Biography

Robert J. Zawadzki is an Associate Professor at UC Davis Health, specifically in the Department of Ophthalmology & Vision Science. He serves as the Managing Director of the UC Davis EyePod - Small Animal Ocular Imaging Laboratory. Additionally, Dr. Zawadzki is involved in the quantification of structural and functional changes in retinal diseases and the aging process, developing novel methods such as optoretinography to advance the understanding of retinal function. His academic credentials include a B.S. and M.S. from Nicolaus Copernicus University and a Ph.D. from the Technical University of Vienna.
