Biography

Robert Zbeda, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with a specialization in Hand & Wrist Surgery, Shoulder & Elbow Surgery, and Orthopedics. He currently serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at NYU Grossman School of Medicine. His practice encompasses a wide range of conditions affecting the upper extremities, including fractures, tendon and ligament injuries, sports-related injuries, and various nerve conditions. Dr. Zbeda has received numerous accolades, including being inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society and winning multiple academic awards throughout his education. He completed his medical degree at New York Medical College, followed by an orthopedic surgery residency at Lenox Hill Hospital where he served as chief resident. His advanced training includes fellowships in hand surgery at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami and in shoulder and elbow surgery in Melbourne, Australia. Dr. Zbeda has authored multiple textbook chapters and peer-reviewed publications, contributing significantly to orthopedic research and education.
