Biography

Dr. Robin Andersson is an Associate Professor at the University of Copenhagen in the Department of Biology, focusing on computational RNA biology. He earned his PhD in Bioinformatics from Uppsala University, where his research resulted in 18 publications. His current research interests include transcriptional regulation, enhancers, promoters, genomics, transcriptomics, and machine learning. He is actively involved in teaching, having supervised numerous MSc and PhD students, and has held various institutional responsibilities, including PhD coordinator for the Department of Biology. Additionally, he is a member of several scientific societies, focusing on enhancer biology and regulatory mechanisms in genetics.
