Biography

Robin Drew is a Professor in the Department of Mechanical, Industrial and Aerospace Engineering at Concordia University, where he has been a faculty member since 1984. Prior to his current position, he served as the Dean of Engineering and Computer Science from 2008 to 2013. He has served on numerous international advisory committees and is frequently invited to speak at conferences. His accolades include the Fellowship from the Metallurgical Society of the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metals and Petroleum in 2006, among other prestigious awards. Drew is also recognized as a Registered Professional Engineer in Ontario, a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Engineering, and a member of the World Academy of Ceramics. Through his extensive teaching, he educates students in materials science and engineering at various levels at Concordia University.
