Biography

Robin Duncan is an Associate Professor in Kinesiology and Health Sciences at the University of Waterloo, cross-appointed to the Department of Biology in the Faculty of Science. His research focuses on the molecular determinants of health and disease, particularly through the lens of nutrigenomics and lipid metabolism. He conducts extensive studies in molecular cloning and recombinant protein biochemistry, aiming to understand the underlying mechanisms of chronic diseases and develop preventive strategies. His teaching includes courses on micronutrient metabolism, physiological biochemical aspects of nutrition and health, and introductory genetics in biosciences.
