Biography

Robin Masheb is a Professor of Psychiatry and a clinical psychologist at Yale School of Medicine. Her scholarly work focuses on advancing the fields of obesity, eating disorders, and pain, particularly in underserved populations. She has received multiple grants from NIH and the Department of Veterans Affairs, and she is an expert in conducting trials to develop and implement evidence-based treatments for eating disorders. Masheb is the founder and Director of the Veterans Initiative Eating Weight (The VIEW), a national program aimed at addressing a broad spectrum of eating and weight problems among veterans. She serves as a fellow of the American Psychological Association's Division of Health Psychology and is a member of the Editorial Board for the journal Eating Behaviors. With over 150 peer-reviewed publications to her credit, she has an active role in the education and training of medical and graduate students, interns, and postdoctoral fellows. She currently serves as the Director of Education at the VA PRIME Center of Innovation.
