Biography

Robin Yang is a pediatric craniofacial surgeon at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, where he serves as the Director of Pediatric Plastic Surgery and the Division Chief of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Dentistry. His expertise encompasses orthognathic surgery, pediatric oral maxillofacial pathology, and congenital craniofacial deformities. Dr. Yang earned his undergraduate degree in psychology from Emory University and later obtained his DDS from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine and his MD from the University of Maryland School of Medicine. He completed residencies in oral maxillofacial surgery and plastic reconstructive surgery, alongside a fellowship in pediatric craniofacial/plastic surgery at Children's Hospital Philadelphia. Since joining the Johns Hopkins faculty in 2019, he has contributed significantly to the field, receiving numerous awards and recognitions, including being board eligible in both Oral Maxillofacial Surgery and Plastic Surgery. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Yang is involved in resident education and has contributed to several important publications in the field of craniofacial surgery.
