Dr. Robin Young

Biography

Robin Young is an Associate Professor at the University of British Columbia Okanagan campus, specializing in Plant Cell Biology. His research focuses on organelle morphology and the synthesis of plant cell walls, contributing significantly to the understanding of plant biological processes. He teaches various courses, including Introductory Biology, Cell Biology, Developmental Biology, and Biochemistry, imparting knowledge and fostering interest in biological sciences among his students. Young has completed a Post-Doctoral Research position at Simon Fraser University and holds a Ph.D. from the University of British Columbia, along with an M.Sc. from Université de Montréal and a B.Sc. from McMaster University.
