Biography

Rochelle Layla Terman is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science at the University of California, Berkeley. She received her PhD in 2016. Professor Terman specializes in international norms and human rights, and is the author of the book "Geopolitics Shaming: Human Rights Pressure Works—and Backfires," published in 2023 by Princeton University Press.
