Dr. Rod Abouharb

Biography

Rod Abouharb is an Associate Professor of International Relations at University College London. His research focuses on the intersection of political violence, international economic organizations, and human rights violations. He has served as Deputy Director of Research (Ethics) in the Department of Political Science and is a member of the UCL Humanities, Arts Sciences Research Ethics Committee. He previously worked at Louisiana State University and holds an undergraduate degree in Politics and Modern History from Brunel University and graduate degrees in Political Science from the University at Buffalo (M.A.) and Binghamton University (Ph.D.). In addition to his academic roles, he has been involved in various editorial and advisory activities, including guest editor positions and serving on editorial boards for journals focused on human rights and social sciences.
