Biography

Rodney D. Priestley is the Pomeroy Betty Perry Smith Professor in the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering at Princeton University and serves as the Dean of the Graduate School. He obtained his Ph.D. from Northwestern University in 2008 and a B.S. from Texas Tech University in 2003. His research focuses on the principles of physics, chemistry, and engineering for nanoscale processing and characterization of polymers and soft matter, with particular emphasis on thin films, colloids, and nanocomposites.
