Dr. Roger Meuwissen

Biography

Roger Meuwissen is a Professor of Control and Auditing at Maastricht University. He is the director of the International Executive Master of Auditing and the Postgraduate Program of Auditing at Maastricht University. His research interests include audit markets, audit regulation, and auditor decision-making, with a specific focus on the competition and quality of audit services and learning errors. Professor Meuwissen has published extensively in leading academic journals, including Contemporary Accounting Research, European Accounting Review, and the Journal of International Accounting, Auditing & Taxation. He also serves on the Executive Committee of the International Symposium on Auditing Research and is a member of the Editorial Board for Auditing: A Journal of Practice and Theory.
