Biography

Roghaieh Parvizi is a Lecturer in Electronic and Nanoscale Engineering at the University of Glasgow. Her primary research interests lie in Micro/nano-fabrication of devices and systems, focusing on thin-film fabrication processes, energy harvesting, photovoltaics, soft electronics, polymer-based electronics, semiconductor materials, sensors, and CMOS integration. Dr. Parvizi has a robust academic involvement with a current role as the primary supervisor for four PhD students and secondary supervisor for two PhD students. In addition to her research endeavors, she is committed to teaching and exclusively instructs undergraduate courses. These courses are part of an award-winning partnership between the University of Glasgow and the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, where she teaches subjects such as Design of Integrated Circuits (UESTCHN4003), Communication Principles Systems (UESTCHN3005), and the Individual (Final Year) Project (UESTCHN4018P).
