Dr. Rohan Francis Taylor

Biography

Rohan Francis-Taylor is an Adjunct Senior Lecturer at the University of New South Wales, specializing in psychiatry. He completed a Bachelor of Liberal Studies (International) in 2006 and MBBS in 2010 from the University of Sydney, and earned his PhD from UNSW in 2021, focusing on optimizing neurostimulation treatments for depression. A Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists, Rohan has over a decade of experience working in public and private mental health settings. He provides clinical services to students at the UNSW Health Service and is actively engaged in a variety of research projects aimed at enhancing the mental health and well-being of university students. His current projects involve the retrospective analysis of university health service data, evaluation of novel peer support initiatives, development of digital interventions to improve medical student mental health, and assessing priorities in student mental health research.
