Rohit Khanna completed his Residency in Ophthalmology at the Government Medical College, Nagpur, followed by a Comprehensive Fellowship at the L V Prasad Eye Institute (LVPEI). He holds a Master's degree in Community Eye Health from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and a Master's in Public Health from The Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Currently, he serves as a Conjoint Associate Professor in the School of Optometry and Vision Science at the University of New South Wales. His research interests include cataract and glaucoma, and he has published extensively in the areas of Geriatric and Child Eye Health. He is also involved in Public Health training and research and acts as a Course Convenor for the Diploma and Master's programs in Community Eye Health. Rohit has worked on various consulting projects with national and international organizations, including the International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness (IAPB), and has participated in capacity-building initiatives in hospitals and institutes across the globe. He is a member of the editorial board of several journals and is an active participant in numerous working groups associated with IAPB.
