Dr. Rohit Singh

Biography

Rohit Singh is an Assistant Professor at Duke University, holding appointments in the Departments of Biostatistics & Bioinformatics and Cell Biology, as well as in the Departments of Computer Science and Electrical & Computer Engineering. His research interests broadly lie in the area of computational biology, with a keen focus on leveraging machine learning to develop precision diagnostics and therapeutics. His lab is dedicated to developing methods for diagnosing disease mechanisms, identifying potential drug targets, and designing therapeutic interventions. Current projects include algorithms for analyzing multimodal single-cell data and inferring regulatory mechanisms. Rohit is particularly enamored with the use of protein language models to predict protein interactions, drug interactions, and to design antibodies.
