Professor Dr. Rolando Roberto

Biography

Dr. Rolando Roberto is an adult and pediatric spine surgeon at UC Davis Medical Center and UC Davis Children's Hospital, with a focus on providing world-class care in a compassionate setting. He has a particular interest in pediatric deformity correction and serves as the Director of Spine Surgery at Shriners Hospital for Children. Dr. Roberto's research emphasizes the correction of spinal deformities, cervical motion preservation, and trauma. He has participated in numerous studies examining spinal disorders, presented his findings, and is recognized for his contributions in these areas. He has received several research grants and has held notable positions, including Chief Diversity Officer in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, advocating for a more inclusive community in spine care.
