Biography

Romke van der Veen is a full professor of Sociology specializing in labor organization at Erasmus University Rotterdam. His research focuses on social policies and the modern welfare state, including aspects of labor markets, social security, health care, and pensions. Since 1995, he has held a professorship in Public Administration at Twente University in the Netherlands.
