Biography

Ronald S. McGlaughlin is an adjunct professor at Penn State Dickinson Law and a senior partner at the law firm Stover, McGlaughlin, Gerace, Weyandt & McCormick P.C. He practices in the areas of litigation, focusing on civil cases which include family law, business law, contract law, and wills/estates. McGlaughlin has represented clients in a wide array of criminal cases ranging from murder to misdemeanors. Before moving to State College in 1987, he practiced law in the Philadelphia area and served as a law clerk for the Honorable Francis Searer, President Judge of the Court of Common Pleas in Mifflin County. He graduated with a Juris Doctor from Ohio Northern University School of Law in 1984, and also holds a Bachelor of Arts from Susquehanna University, earned in 1981. Currently, he resides in State College with his wife and their Golden Retriever, and he has adult children.
