Dr. Ronald Osborn

Biography

Ronald Osborn is a Lecturer at USC Dornsife, holding a Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Southern California, earned in December 2012. He also possesses a Master’s degree from the School of Oriental and African Studies, completed in December 2005, and a Bachelor’s degree from St. John’s College in Maryland, awarded in May 2002. His academic work includes a focus on the intersections of humanism, biblical literalism, and political theory, as shown in his published books and articles. Notable publications include 'Humanism Death God: Searching Good Darwin, Marx, Nietzsche' (Oxford University Press, 2017), and various journal articles in recognized publications like the Harvard Divinity Bulletin. Osborn is actively engaged in exploring themes of individualism, conservativism, and the broader implications of violence within socio-political contexts.
