Biography

Rong-Hao Liang is an Assistant Professor in the Future Everyday Group, Department of Industrial Design and the Signal Processing Systems Group, Department of Electrical Engineering at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e). His research focuses on designing engineering intelligent sensing systems, user interface technology, ubiquitous computing, and embodied human-computer interaction (HCI). He has co-chaired and co-organized international conferences and regularly served as a technical program committee member for premier ACM conferences such as CHI, UIST, and DIS. Liang has authored over 70 peer-reviewed publications and holds more than 10 patents. He has been recognized with Paper Award Honorable Mentions for exploring innovative solutions to critical technological and societal challenges by integrating technologies into design materials.
