Biography

Ronit Dinovitzer is a Professor of Sociology at the University of Toronto, where she is cross appointed at the Institute Management Innovation (IMI). Her work seeks to understand ethical decision-making and professional autonomy among corporate lawyers and their interactions with clients. Dinovitzer is involved in the JD Project, a national longitudinal study tracking law graduates in Canada, contributing to a deeper understanding of the challenges faced by legal professionals related to compensation, debt, and well-being, particularly as they intersect with gender and race.
