Dr. Ronnie Clark

Biography

I received an MSc in Information Engineering from the University of the Witwatersrand and my DPhil from the University of Oxford. I was a member of the Dyson Robotics Lab at Imperial College from 2017 to 2020 and held an Imperial College Research Fellowship before joining the University of Oxford in 2022 as an Associate Professor. My research has received accolades such as the Best Paper Honourable Mention at CVPR in 2018. My work primarily focuses on bridging the gap between the real world and the digital world by creating photorealistic digital copies of reality. I work in areas including Neural Rendering, Dense Visual SLAM, and Scene Understanding, and I am particularly interested in developing novel 3D vision techniques for advancing state-of-the-art applications in Mixed Reality, Home Robotics, and Physical Sciences. I welcome inquiries regarding DPhil related topics.
