Dr. Roojin Habibi

Biography

Roojin Habibi is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Law, University of Ottawa. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from Glendon College, York University, a Master of Science from McMaster University, a Juris Doctor from the University of Ottawa, and a Ph.D. from Osgoode Hall Law School, York University. Her research focuses primarily on global health law, public health law, and constitutional law in Canada. She has co-directed a short documentary titled 'Siracusa: Human Rights Public Health Crisis' and has contributed to various academic publications that explore the intersections of law, health, and policy. Habibi is committed to fostering a supportive academic environment that promotes equity, diversity, and inclusion, both in her teaching and research endeavors. Through her work, she aims to address pressing global challenges and influence positive change in the legal frameworks governing public health.
