Biography

Rory is an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Law and a Fellow and Tutor in Law at Merton College. He works on various aspects of private law, particularly interested in the interrelations of core private law subjects. His work integrates contract, tort, land, trusts, and remedies to address problems currently troubling the courts. His research has been cited with approval by the Court of Appeal in England and Wales. Before his current position at the University, he was an Assistant Professor of Private Law at the Faculty of Law, University of Cambridge, and a Fellow of Trinity College, Cambridge.
