Dr. Rosalie Tung

Biography

Rosalie Tung is a Professor of International Business at Simon Fraser University, where she holds the Ming Stella Wong Chaired Professorship. With a Ph.D. in Business Administration from the University of British Columbia, Dr. Tung has a distinguished career in academia and has served in various leadership roles, including President of the Academy of Management and the Academy of International Business. Her editorial contributions include Editor-in-Chief roles at the Journal of International Business Studies and the Journal of Cross Cultural & Strategic Management. Inducted as a Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada and multiple academic organizations, she has received numerous awards for her impactful research and service to the field. Dr. Tung's research focuses on comparative cross-cultural management, international business strategies, and human resources management within the Asia-Pacific region. She has published extensively in top academic journals and her work has been cited by various international media. Dr. Tung is actively involved in internationalization efforts in business education and has taught at prestigious institutions worldwide, including Harvard University and the Wharton School.
