Biography

Rosalyn Jewel Farney is an artist and current candidate for the MFA program in Studio Art at the University of Texas at Austin. They have a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and have also studied at Academy Art University in San Francisco and the Southwest School of Art in San Antonio. Their artistic practice incorporates interdisciplinary approaches and archival collections into moving image works. Rosalyn currently produces drawings, prints, and handmade paper and utilizes a frame-by-frame animation process.
