Biography

Rosamund Scott is a Professor of Medical Law and Ethics at King's College London and the Director of the Centre of Medical Law and Ethics. She joined the Centre as a Lecturer in 1998, became a Reader in Law in 2005, and a Professor in 2007. In 2013, she took on the role of Co-Director and became the Director in 2020. Her research interests revolve around reproductive ethics and law, and she has published a wide range of articles and books on these topics. Professor Scott has contributed significantly to the academic dialogue surrounding reproductive technologies and ethical considerations in medical law, including issues of genetic editing and reproductive autonomy.
