Biography

Rosann Edwards is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Nursing and Health Sciences at the University of New Brunswick Saint John. She has a background as a front line public health nurse and lactation consultant. Rosann also holds a third-degree karate black belt and is a mother. Rosann has authored several publications, including studies on breastfeeding experiences among older first-time mothers and factors influencing breastfeeding practices among young mothers living in maternity shelters. Her work has been recognized with an award for a top ten article during World Breastfeeding Week in 2017.
