Dr. Rosanna Bellini

Biography

Rosanna Bellini is an Assistant Professor at NYU Tandon School of Engineering, specializing in Computer Science and Engineering. With a strong academic background, she earned her Ph.D. in Computer Science from Newcastle University, UK, in 2021, where her research focused on computer security and digital safety. She also holds an M.Res. with distinction in Digital Civics and an M.Sc. in Computer Science, both from Newcastle University, as well as a B.A. in Philosophy, earning first-class honors. Prior to her current role, Dr. Bellini worked as a postdoctoral scholar at Cornell Tech, collaborating with Professors Nicola Dell and Thomas Ristenpart. Her research interests encompass Computer Security, Digital Safety, Human-Computer Interaction, and the impacts of technology on intimate partner violence. She actively contributes to advancing knowledge in these critical areas through her publications and ongoing projects.
