Biography

Rose Narooz is a Senior Lecturer in International Business Enterprise at the Adam Smith Business School, University of Glasgow. She earned her PhD and MSc in International Business/International Entrepreneurship from the University of Birmingham and holds a BSc in Business Administration from Cairo University. Previously, she was a Lecturer in International Business Enterprise from 2018 to 2021 and has also served as a Post-Doctoral researcher at the Centre for Trust, Peace & Reconciliation at Coventry University. Rose's research focuses on International Entrepreneurship, particularly in emerging markets and SMEs, entrepreneurial decision-making, international business models, and networking behavior. She has published in high-impact International Business journals and serves as an ad-hoc reviewer for several prestigious publications. Rose is actively involved in a networking project on SME internationalization with scholars from various countries. She also plays a vital role in mentoring women in academia and teaches multiple postgraduate modules that align closely with her research interests. Rose is recognized for her contributions and was nominated for the 'People Make Research Award - Impact Collaboration' in 2023.
