Dr. Rosemary Alamo

Biography

Rosemary Alamo is a licensed clinical social worker and has a Doctorate in Behavioral Health from Arizona State University. She specializes in social work with children, youth, and families, focusing on integrated behavioral health. Alamo currently serves as a teaching professor in practicum education at the University of Southern California's Suzanne Dworak-Peck School of Social Work and co-leads several initiatives in social work education. Her areas of expertise include forensic social work, school social work, individual and family counseling, building organizational human capacity, crisis intervention, child abuse and neglect, and establishing collaborations with law enforcement. Her professional background includes significant experience in the field of social work, particularly in research and educational settings. Alamo is affiliated with organizations such as the National Association of Social Workers and the Network for Social Work Management, and she is fluent in Spanish.
