Rosemary Fisher joined Charing Cross Westminster Medical School in 1989 and completed her PhD at the Institute of Cancer Research. In 1995, she was appointed as a lecturer in Genetics. Dr. Fisher has considerable experience in medical education, having previously taught various aspects of clinical genetics. In 2004, she was awarded a Fellowship from the Royal College of Pathologists and is currently an honorary consultant geneticist at Imperial College Healthcare NHS, where she is responsible for the genetic diagnosis of trophoblastic tumors and recurrent molar pregnancies.
