Biography

Roxane Heinze-Bradshaw is an Associate Professor in the School of Communication at Northwestern University, where she also serves as an Undergraduate Academic Advisor for Theatre, Dance, and Performance Studies. Roxane advises students in their pursuit of majors and disciplines, specifically supporting the Dance minor and the Theatre Young Audiences module. Her dissertation highlighted the dynamic historical relationship between play publishers and amateur producers, examining her experience as managing editor at Samuel French, Inc. Roxane has extensive practical experience as a dramaturg for numerous productions in New York and Chicago. In her spare time, she enjoys making music and conducting science experiments with her children.
