Biography

Roya Hassanjani is a Ph.D. candidate specializing in Operations Management at the Scheller College of Business, Georgia Institute of Technology. Her research interest lies in optimizing supply chain management and enhancing operational efficiency in various business contexts. She seeks to understand the interplay between technology and operations, especially how innovative practices can contribute to improved performance. Throughout her academic journey, she has developed strong analytical skills and a solid grounding in quantitative methods, enabling her to approach complex operational challenges systematically. Before pursuing her Ph.D., Roya earned her Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, enriching her understanding of process optimization and resource management. She has presented her work at several academic conferences and is committed to contributing to the body of knowledge in her field. Roya is also actively involved in academic workshops and seminars aimed at fostering discussions on contemporary issues in operations management, aiming to bridge the gap between theory and practice.
