Biography

Roya Maboudian holds a Ph.D. from the California Institute of Technology and is a recognized expert in Surface and Interfacial Science. She has received numerous prestigious awards including the IBM Postdoctoral Research Fellowship, National Science Foundation Young Investigator Award, and the Department of Energy's DP Early Career Award. Maboudian is also a Fellow of the American Vacuum Society and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers. Heil, Jr. Chancellor's Chair in the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at the University of California, Berkeley.
