Dr. Roz Wiggins

Biography

Roz Wiggins is a Lecturer in Management and the Director of the Global Financial Crisis Project at the Yale Program on Financial Stability. Her research centers on financial crises, focusing on their causes, impacts, and responses, particularly in relation to financial regulation. Since joining the Yale Program on Financial Stability at its inception in 2013, she has collaborated extensively with Professor Andrew Metrick to develop a state-of-the-art institute. Wiggins has authored numerous case studies on the 2008 financial crisis, with particular emphasis on the bankruptcy of Lehman Brothers. She has a background as a corporate lawyer, which further shapes her interest in the corporate governance aspects of decisions made during crises. Wiggins has also contributed to developing the Global Financial Crisis class within the full-time MBA curriculum and has taught the course in the MBA Executives program.
