Dr. Ruben Sauceda

Biography

Ruben Sauceda is an Assistant Professor at the School of Dentistry at UTHealth Houston, where he focuses on teaching Fixed Prosthodontics, Removable Prosthodontics, and Implant Dentistry. He provides advanced instruction to Graduate Prosthodontics residents in dental implant placement and restoration. Dr. Sauceda received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the National Autonomous University of Honduras (UNAH) in 2002 and subsequently established his own dental practice, where he worked for four years as a general dentist. In 2006, he moved to the United States to pursue advanced training in Prosthodontics at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (2006-2009), followed by studies in Periodontology (2009-2012). He obtained certifications from both UAB and the Birmingham Veterans Affairs Hospital. Dr. Sauceda earned a Master of Science degree in the field of Prosthodontics from UAB and is a member of UT Dentists, where he practices limited Periodontics, Prosthodontics, and Implant Dentistry.
