Rucha Bond earned her Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and her Doctor of Education degree from Virginia Commonwealth University after completing her Bachelor of Science at Mississippi State University. There, she engaged in ambulatory care practice and contributed to both didactic and experiential curriculum, while also serving as Interim Director of Experiential Education. In 2018, she became part of the faculty administrative team at Virginia Commonwealth University as Associate Dean for Experiential Education and Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmacotherapy and Outcomes Science. As Assistant Dean for Experiential Education, Dr. Bond provides leadership, coordination, and oversight for the college's Introductory Pharmacy Practice Experiences (IPPE) and Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experiences (APPE), collaborating with regional personnel across five Texas internship regions and supervising staff members in the Office of Experiential Education.
