Biography

Ruonan Sun graduated with a bachelor's degree from the University of Canberra and furthered his education at the Australian National University (ANU), where he obtained a Ph.D. in Management Information Systems. He began his academic career as an associate lecturer, and in November 2020, he joined Lancaster University Management School. He remained there until 2023 before moving to Monash University. His current research interests focus on platform service governance, information diffusion through digital channels, and the application of information technology in rural economics. Ruonan is enthusiastic about collaborating with prospective Ph.D. students who share his research interests, particularly in relation to UN Sustainable Development Goals. He has published several papers in these areas and is open to discussions about research topics in order to further explore these important fields.
