Biography

Rushdi Alsaleh is a sessional lecturer at the UBC Sauder School of Business, specializing in Accounting Information Systems. He holds a PhD from the University of British Columbia, a Post-Degree Diploma from Vancouver Community College, and both a Master’s and a Bachelor’s degree from Kuwait. His research interests lie in Data Driven Modeling, Big Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Game Theory and Robotics, and Intelligent Transportation Systems with a focus on Traffic Safety. He has contributed to significant publications in the field, including studies on modeling vehicle conflicts and pedestrian-vehicle interactions utilizing advanced modeling techniques such as multi-agent inverse reinforcement learning. Alsaleh is also actively involved in teaching courses related to Management Information Systems and Data Modernization in Business Innovation at the graduate level.
