Biography

Ruth joined UCL School of Pharmacy as a Maplethorpe research fellow in 2016 and was appointed Lecturer in Pharmacoepidemiology in 2019, becoming an Associate Professor in 2025. Before her Maplethorpe fellowship, she completed her PhD in Pharmacoepidemiology at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, followed by post-doctoral research projects at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and King's College London, focusing on women's health. She is currently the Pharmalliance UCL Domain chair and a member of the international research network 'Neurological Mental Health Global Epidemiology Network' (NeuroGEN).
