Ruth Marshall received her DPhil in Politics from Oxford University. She is the author of 'Political Spiritualities: Pentecostal Revolution in Nigeria' (University of Chicago Press, 2009) and has published numerous scholarly articles on the study of global Christianity in relation to politics, religion, ethnicity, and citizenship in West Africa, particularly in Nigeria and Côte d’Ivoire.
