Biography

Ryan Bitar joined Yale in 2021 as part of an integrated Interventional Radiology residency program. Prior to beginning residency, he completed his medical education at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, where he graduated with an MD with a Distinction in Research. His experiences and mentorship during medical school fostered his fascination with the ever-evolving field of Interventional Radiology and innovative translational research. Ryan is eager to pursue his primary interests in novel therapeutic and diagnostic techniques in interventional oncology during his training at Yale. In his free time, Ryan enjoys cooking, comedy, and playing music.
