Ryan Buchanan is an Associate Professor in Hepatology at the University of Southampton, where he focuses on applied health research aimed at improving outcomes for marginalized communities living with liver disease. He also leads a year 3 undergraduate medicine module, focusing on developing clinical reasoning skills among students in the early stages of their clinical training.
