Biography

Ryan McAnnally-Linz is a systematic theologian and the Associate Director at the Yale Center for Faith and Culture, Yale Divinity School. He holds a PhD from Yale and primarily works at the intersection of theology, ethics, and cultural criticism. His research interests include theological ethics, humility, eschatology, Christian thought, biblical theology, and the philosophy of Charles Taylor. His scholarly articles have appeared in 'Modern Theology' and 'Scottish Journal of Theology.' Originally from Southern California, Ryan has strong ties to Latin America and has spent time in Buckinghamshire, England, and Hanover, NH, before making New Haven his home in 2008. He is married to Heidi McAnnally-Linz and they have children, worshipping at Elm City Vineyard in New Haven.
