Biography

Dr. S. Margaret Paik is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Chicago, with a clinical focus on Pediatric Emergency Medicine. She also holds an AB in Biology from Cornell University, obtained in 1982. Her research has included pivotal studies focusing on asthma management and interventions in children, with a commitment to improving care transitions for asthma patients in emergency settings.
