Biography

S. Anthony Thompson is a professor in the Faculty of Education at the University of Regina, currently on sabbatical. His research primarily focuses on Arts-Based Educational Research and Inclusive Education. Dr. Thompson has a broad background in Inclusive Education and Teacher Education, emphasizing alternative understandings of dis/ability. His work is significantly guided by research conducted in inclusive educational contexts and larger disability policy frameworks, particularly through the Canadian Disability Policy Alliance. He is actively involved in a pan-Canadian study at the Canadian Research Centre for Inclusive Education, exploring teacher education and inclusive practices.
