Biography

B.Tech Mechanical Engineering, 2009 (Punjab Technical University); M.Tech Thermal Engineering, 2012 (National Institute of Technology Hamirpur); PhD Mechanical Engineering, 2018 (Indian Institute of Technology Ropar) Since August 2022, Sundeep has been working as an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Sustainable Design Engineering (FSDE) at the University of Prince Edward Island (UPEI). He holds a PhD in Thermo-fluids specialization and has more than 3 years of postdoctoral research experience in various Canadian universities, such as McMaster University, University of Calgary, and Wilfrid Laurier University. He has co-authored 60+ publications in peer-reviewed journals and conferences and chaired three special symposiums at international conferences. He is also serving as a Guest Editor and Reviewer for several reputed journals and conferences and has reviewed more than 100 research papers to date. He has over 5 years of teaching experience and received multiple teaching excellence awards. His current research expertise is highly inter-disciplinary and includes vast areas in the field of Mechanical and Biomedical engineering, such as Thermo-fluids; Computational Fluid Dynamics; Minimally Invasive Thermal Therapies; Bio-heat Transfer; Coupled Multiscale and Multiphysics Problems in Bioengineering; Complex Fluid Rheology; Sustainable and Environmental Engineering; and Numerical Modelling and Simulations.
